We brought you news last month of a 26 year old NYSC member, Folakemi Akinbode, who was attacked by unknown assailants wielding machetes and guns on her way to the Corper's Lodge near the Niger Delta Teaching Hospital, Okolobori, in bayelsa State.Word has it that she's set to be flown to Monza in Italy, to receive medical treatment at a specialist hospital.
Secretary to the Bayelsa State Government (SSG), Edmund Allison- Oguru, during a visit, said the arrangement for foreign medical treatment had been concluded and fixed for next week.
