The actress had another celebration over the weekend on Sunday, she went on a boat cruise with some of her friends.

Family sources confided in THISDAY last night that Onyeawuna who has been ill for several months now passed on at a clinic in FESTAC Town, Lagos late last night.

He debuted for Nigeria’s national team then called the Red Devils on October 30, 1955 and played his last game for the country on March 26 1964. He scored seven goals in 26 games.

A desperate Moroccan father who was caught trying to smuggle his daughter into Spain by hiding her in his luggage has been told she can stay in the country.


Customs officials found eight-year-old Haniya Kanaan curled up inside a small suitcase after her single father Ayham, 38, entered Spain on a legal work permit through the Andalusian port of Tarifa.


Although Kanaan faces a fine for trying to smuggle his daughter into the country in the hope of giving her a better life, a judge has ruled that she can live with her father for as long as he works in Spain, adding that she will also be allowed to enrol at a local school.

Parents of school girls abducted last Tuesday from Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State by Boko Haram terrorists, yesterday, recounted their experience in the dreaded Sambisa forest in search of their daughters who are being held there.
The aggrieved, traumatised parents who spoke when the state governor, Kashim Shettima visited the school, also disputed the figures provided by the state government of those who have escaped.
The parents had vowed last week to sacrifice their lives and storm the forest because the military had allegedly failed to enter the forest and rescue their children.

D'Bbanj Visits Abuja Bomb Blast Victims, orders Nigerian Youths to shun violence

Few days after Iyanya and Ezzine Akudo visited the Nyanya bomb blast victims, Dbanj also visited them on tuestday. After visiting the bomb blast victims urged Nigerian youths to shun violence and embrace peace.

D'banj made the call when he visited some victims of the Nyanya bomb blast in company of the FCT Health Secretary, Dr Ademola Onakomaiya, at the Asokoro District Hospital, Abuja.
According to him, government alone cannot do all that is required for peace to reign in the country.
“I am a Nigerian and I am affected by any tragedy that befalls us and particularly in the spirit of Easter, I came to show the victims support. I have seen that the survivors are
responding positively to treatment and thanked the medical team here for the efforts. We are appealing to the perpetrators of these acts to have a rethink and support the peace initiative so that our people would not be subjected to such wickedness.”

 Stunned doctors were shocked to find 12 gold bars inside the stomach of an Indian businessman who was admitted to hospital due to vomiting.

The 63-year-old man went to a hospital in Dehli earlier this month saying he had swallowed a cap from a water bottle and wanted it removed from his body.

He also complained of pain and vomiting prompting surgeons to operate on the man.

Meet The 10-Month Old Baby Who Miraculously Survived Nyanya Bomb Blast

The 10-month old baby above has been identified as Goodness. She miraculously survived the Nyanya bomb blast which killed over 100 and injured about 124 people. Goodness is the daughter of a petty trader who sold at the motor park. She was found among dead bodies while rescue team were trying to separate the bodies. The only injury she had is a swollen right eye. Sadly her mother died during the blast.

Construction worker Elvis Romeo Lingurar, 24 was working on a demolition site when he lost his balance and fell off scaffolding, smashing his head on the concrete below.

The impact of the six foot fall shattered Elvis' skull on his left side, and doctors were forced to remove the bone in order to save his life.
 Mr Lingurar, from Livada, north-west Romania spent several days in a coma where doctors battled to save his life.

After a successful wedding to rival any royal carnival on Saturday, April 12, President Jonathan and his family alongside friends and well wishers joined the newly wed couple to celebrate during a Thanksgiving service that took place yesterday at Aso Villa Chapel.
Faith and her husband were obviously overjoyed, as they danced heartily to the praise and worship songs from the choir.
