PSG to offer Chelsea €80m for Hazard
PSG are readying a whopping €80m offer for Chelsea’s Belgian winger Eden Hazard, that would make the 22-year-old the third most expensive player of all time behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, according to French magazine France Football.
Jose Mourinho and Chelsea will no doubt be desperate to keep their star player, who only joined from Lille a season-and-a-half ago for a huge £32m fee.
In this time tough, Hazard has established a reputation as one of the most destructive attacking players in the country, and the Blues are not in a financial position where they will be forced to sell the winger.
Since arriving at Chelsea, Hazard has scored 24 goals in 91 matches already, and just last week told French show Telefoot he wanted to stay at Stamford Bridge:
“For four years, during each transfer market, there are rumours I will go here and there. Paris has money, Paris is a great club. But I am at Chelsea, there is no chance to see me leaving during that transfer market or during the next one,” he said.
“I don’t want to leave. To me, Chelsea is the best place to improve.”
