Whose house is this... Chris Brown, Davido or Wizkid?
Once again I like to welcome you all to AY’s Blog. Permit me to let you know that the picture that I am having here is not that of any amusement park within or outside Nigeria. Well, if you care to know, this is CHRIS BROWN’S home in the Hollywood Hills.The Los Angeles Times reports that local residents are complaining that the images in the street art-style murals are too scary. "There are lots of babies, lots of children, and they're literally frightened," Hollywood Dell Civic Association president Patti Negri told the paper. "It's like devils on the wall – big scary eyes and big scary teeth, and just the whole vibe is not what we're used to."
L.A. city code officials responded to the neighbors' complaints by citing Brown for unpermitted and excessive signage, with possible fines starting at $376. They ordered him to remove the painting within 30 days, after which the fines could rise.
Chris Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, said that Brown planned to fight the city over the murals. "They are trying to suspend the First Amendment," he said.
Wow! Come to think of it, which of the following Nigerian musician could fit into Chris Brown’s shoes and paint his house and car like this?

Julius Agwu and his friend Okey Bakassi were MC’s at a wedding reception in the year 2000. The beauty of a gorgeous Ibiere (who was part of the Bridal Train) caught their eyes. And there was a bet. Who will get her first?
“I was smarter. I was faster. I was able to get her contact first.” Julius said.
But it wasn’t Julius that was smarter. It was that strange and sure urge. It pushes you towards your destiny. He only obeyed the Urge, CAPSIH!

“Ibiere was pulling up attitudes whenever I tried to reach her after the wedding,” Julius recalled.
As a result, he made a wrong move.
“I called her bluff. In fact, I forgot about her.”
But that Urge won’t take any of that. It’s Destiny. It has a way of keeping your wife, your wife.
Two years after the Fronting years, they met in Port Harcourt again. Julius Agwu was mourning his late Dad, Ibiere was rocking on the eve of her birthday, yet mourning mixed with celebrations.
Cupid showed up. Fired his arrow. And to cut the long story short, they exchanged vows. They signed dotted lines. They inserted diamond rings. And Ibiere became Mrs. ‘Crack Ya Ribs.’

Julius confirms his wife is an introvert. So he understands when she won’t even ask her if he’s had dinner when he is away from her.
He understands that being an introvert, Ibiere is only more concerned with the inner world of her mind. And she enjoys thinking, exploring her thoughts and feelings.
Instead of complaining about her nature. Julius Agwu seeks ways to be part of the inner world of her mind.
To reduce the effect of that nature getting to him Julius will always cuddle, pet and ask questions like: “Are you okay? What is the problem?’
It’s a template. It works for Julius. Do more of it, it makes your wife feel like a Baby – after all, that’s what you call dotingly call her.

What if a Mermaid appeared to Alibaba at Lagos Bar Beach?
This is, actually, ALIBABA's FUN-Biography.
He was born Atunyota Alleluya Akporobomemerere but to make pronunciation less Toungue twisting, and very more comprehensible, he went for an easier ‘guy name’— Alibaba.
Alibaba started his early life in Warri but came to Lagos for the first time in 1976 and he was living in Ojo Cantonment. He went to St. Micheal Primary School, Ojo and then to Command Secondary School, Ipaja after which he returned to join his father in Warri (when his father retired from the Army).
As a Young undergraduate, his father, Chief Alfred Akpophiohwobo Akporobome (the OTOTA R'OVIE OF AGBARHA KINGDOM, UGHELLI, DELTA STATE ) felt the best career for him was Law and Alibaba agreed with his father.

He didn't.
Sticking to his dream came with Price: His father disowned him. And stopped sponsoring his education. He wanted to prove to him that Comedy is better than Law. He seem to have seen some big picture and wigs and gavels were not in it.
At that time that was no Biggie. Alibaba had an Uncle who lives in 1004 flats in Lagos. He moved to Lagos 1990 the same year Portugal beat the Flying Eagles Junior World Cup which held in Russia.
The ‘beating’ was symbolic. Alibaba will be great but first he must be beaten by the canes of life. In other words he must be Transformed by Trouble.
And Trouble showed up fast.
Because of his Comedy career, he keeps late night, so one night, His Uncle asked him to come downstairs to the Living room. No, he wasn't called to come and partake in the Night Devotion before everyone sleeps. Like Big Brother Africa, he was about to be evicted.
NTA’s Tokunbo Ajayi witnessed the eviction. Sorry, She actually was reading the News on NTA News that night.
The reason for Alibaba’s Uncle evicted him is not because he sneaks to the Kitchen at Night to steal meats from the Pot of Stew, No. It was because he keeps late nights, and his Uncle was afraid that could be a bad influence on his Kids. They might just assume coming home very late is the new cool way of life.
Unlike Big Brother Africa, Alibaba’s eviction was not immediate. He still slept in the house that night.
But God was so so good to Alibaba. The next morning, he got a bigger apartment. In his new apartment, he doesn't pay ‘NEPA’ bills. And good for him, it was on high brow, Victoria Island. It’s a place you know very well – Lagos Bar Beach.
Alibaba paid N5 per night at the beach. At dusk, Alibaba is giving a Chair on which he lays till the next morning. Before 6am in the morning, he arranged for people that would give you warm water to take your bath. After he’s had his bath and breakfast he treks to NTA where he, well, works at that time.
At work, when his boss ask all staff living on the Island to signify by raising up their hands, Alibaba raises his own hand, too.
Living on the beach must go down as a risk. What if Alibaba slept on a night, and in the middle of the night some beautiful woman came to sleep close to him Caressing him on his back. What if his temperature began rising? What if he turned around to return the romantic gesture? And what if his finds out his tender guest was a Mermaid?
Fast Forward!
Things picked up. Alibaba’s ‘obstinacy’ paid off. He now lives the Physical Equivalent of the BIG Picture he saw when his father rejected and abandoned him. He brought many other great comedians into the BIG Picture, also.
Alibaba was invited to an event which held at Eko Hotel and Suites premises in 2009, Nineteen Years after the returned to Lagos to live his Comedy Dream. It was the Ovation Red Carol, and it was one of those years Religious Crisis were on a dismal high in Jos.
This is one of Alibaba’s Memorable Jokes at the event.
“How did you get to my room? Are you mad? Don’t you know I am a man of God?”
“Sir, we thought it was one of our customers, and it’s already 3am we can go anywhere…”

The Sultan of Sokoto was the chairman, Bishops and all those people were there. They were trying to talk to people on religious tolerance and this Bishop got back to his room and saw two prostitutes.
“How did you get to my room? Are you mad? Don’t you know I am a man of God?”
“Sir, we thought it was one of our customers, and it’s already 3am we can go anywhere…”

AY Live Stands Lagos Still
AY Live, the Comedy and Music Concerts from the stable of AY’s Corporate World Entertainment has come, gone and left a visible foot print on the sand of Entertainment Time as Nigeria’s most attended Concert when it held Lagos still on Easter Sunday out-selling (for the 3rd Consecutive time) the 6,000-Capacity Eko Convention Hall of Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos on Easter Sunday 2013.
“It’s another Big plus for us,” AY said after the Crowd-thronging Concert, “And we can only say thank you to OHTV, our International Production partners and to everybody (organizations and Individuals) that supported the Event. We cannot but appreciate Lagosians for trooping out en-masse to see the Show. And above all, we thank the Life-giving Lord for helping us fix a date, making the day a good day for a Show, and for granting us life, long enough to see that day and beyond.”
AY Live on Easter Sunday recorded a First: It was the first time Nigeria’s song singing super actress, Tonto Dike staged her first Live Performance. And she wowed the crowd with her energetic performance: Dancing, Smiling and getting good ovation as she performed.
Alibaba, Julius Agwu, Gordons, Gandoki, and AY himself were at their performance best on the Night. They dished out mature, intelligent, and memorable side-splitting jabs. And representing the New Testament of Comedy in Nigeria, Funny Bone, Akpororo, Elenu, Ajebo, Mc Shakara, Acapella, and scores of other young and very hilarious comedians added more fun to the Night.
The Crown Troupe of Africa were excellent on the Night, while Explicit Dance Group, Kaffy’s Dance Group were on the Bill and on Stage to provide engaging choreographed Dance.
Juliet Ibrahim the fabulous sexy Actress from Ghana represented Golloywood on a Parody Comedy Skit that told the story of how Kim Kardashian was in Lagos for Darey’s Love Like a Movie Concert. And the witty lines in the Skit doubled the crowd up.
Juliet was Joined by Tinsel’s Chris Attoh (also from Ghana) and both of them alongside AY and Elenu staged a comedy play where Chris playing Boniface was the husband whose impotency worried his wife, Magi (played by Juliet). They both invited false Prophet AY and his interpreter, Elenu to help out with the situation. Prophet AY had to physically transfer power to Magi to make her produce babies.
Earlier DJ Exclusive had opened the Show with great performances by artistes from Noe-Nel (Zack Orji’s Son), to Mo Easy, to Zaina, to Sexy Steel, and to Dipp. While DJ Jimmy Jatt ended the Show with eclectic performances by another set of artistes from Tonto Dike, to Sheyi Shay, to D’Prince, to Kcee, to Terry G, to Timaya, to Olamide (who was the Surprise act of the day) to Iyanya and to WizKid the Star Boy.
After the Show (the Red Carpet of which Denrele hosted) Freeze the host of the Main Show said: “This is the Best Show of the Year!”

AY Live on Easter Sunday (9 DAYS TO GO)
This is the story of a Comedian who employed a local security guard (the ones we call Aboki) to man his gate.
3 Weeks on his new Job, Aboki observed that his Employer the comedian mostly goes out at Night, returns early mornings, stays home all day, and the circle continues.
Aboki was a patriotic Nigerian. He was worried. He wondered what kind of job his Oga at the top is into. In his mind, only Arm Robbers live that kind of life.
One day, after a comedy show, the comedian returned to find Policemen waiting, with handcuffs, for him.
But the name in black were shocked when they find out the man they came to arrest is the very popular comedian, whose jokes they love, whose fans they were, and who they have always wanted to meet in person.
In the end, the Policemen told the Comedian that someone came to their office to inform them that a man in his neighborhood, whom he suspects must be a criminal because he keeps late nights and stays home all day.
When the Comedian asked to know who the Whistle Blower is, guess whose name came up?
ABOKI!
It’s not his fault. He didn’t know Night Life is part of Comedy Life. Unknown to him too, his Oga is a Comedian.
We can bet he never even knows this Comedian is one of the veterans on the Bill to perform at AY Live on Easter.

Welcome to the official Countdown to AY Live on Easter Sunday. We are 15 Days away from Nigeria’s and Africa’s most populated comedy and Music Concerts.
We said its Africa’s most populated Comedy Concert because for three consecutive years, since 2010 AY Live has overwhelmed the 6,000 Capacity Expo Hall of Eko Hotel and Suites with a mammoth crowd of excited crowd. You can confirm this with any of your friends, and they’ll you.
Today, we are excited to that we are not resting on our oars. We are looking forward to hosting AY Live Someday at the Emirates Stadium in London, and we believe we shall always get the Physical Equivalent of our Thoughts because that is was the same way we moved AY Live from Muson Cetnre to Eko Hotels and Suites.
That’s the lesson we’ve learnt, that’s how we activate the Future of the Show, and that’s message we want to pass across on the Countdown today:

First, we told you how at Iyanya’s Album Launch, Timaya, while performing jumped off the stage and of all sexy ladies in the building, Timaya only chose to dance with and hug just one lady – Florence Ita Giwa.
Then, we told you how at Tufaces wedding, our prying camera caught Timaya, of all beautiful women in at the wedding, kissing another woman – Florence Ita Giwa.
Now, what we haven’t officially told you on AY’s BLOG is that Timaya is one of the FIRST RATE acts that will be performing on the Show everyone is talking about: AY Live on Easter Sunday.

Tuface and Annie got more than a PRADO from Gov. Akpabio
In contrast to viral reports that Tuface got a Prado SUV from the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Governor Akpabio, AY’s Blog can convincingly report that Tuface and Annie Idibia, got more than a Prado from the bighearted and entertainment loving governor of Nigeria’s only State of Transformation.
One, they got a Prado
“I have nothing to give you other than a token from the State. We decided that since our daughter is a golden daughter, We want two of you to go back home with a brand new Prado Jeep (SUV) as our contribution for today.” Those were words of Gov Akpabio when he announced the SUV gift from the State.
Two, they got support for the White wedding in Dubai
Said Governor Akpabio: “We will also send at least 20-man delegation to go with you to Dubai for the main wedding. So you have a strong delegation.”
Three, they got hands-on advise and Prayers from the Governor “Marriage is not a bed of roses,” Gov. Akpabio advised. “You are going to have challenges but you must pray together so that you can stay together. And you must believe in God. The reason why God blesses certain people is because of the fact that they are married.

Tuface and Annie Idibia were received at the Governors Lodge later that evening. And the following celebs were there also. AY, Timaya, Kate Henshaw, Ini Edo, Kween Onakala, Ayo Animashun, Sound Sultan, Iyanya, Ubi Franklyn (Iyanya’s Manager) and Dayo of Hip on TV.
Two Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, were present at the Dinner: One is Minister of Culture, Toursim and National Orientation, Chief Edem Duke, and Minister of State for Education, Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike.
After the Dinner Tuface had some words to say to Governor Akpabio: “Your Excellency, I’m short of words, there’s no way to say thank you enough for your support and love. And I want to say you are a very good human being, and God will continue to be with you. And I want to say thank you to all of you that came from different parts of the world to show support. Because you guys made my day.”

One, they got a Prado
“I have nothing to give you other than a token from the State. We decided that since our daughter is a golden daughter, We want two of you to go back home with a brand new Prado Jeep (SUV) as our contribution for today.” Those were words of Gov Akpabio when he announced the SUV gift from the State.
Two, they got support for the White wedding in Dubai
Said Governor Akpabio: “We will also send at least 20-man delegation to go with you to Dubai for the main wedding. So you have a strong delegation.”
Three, they got hands-on advise and Prayers from the Governor “Marriage is not a bed of roses,” Gov. Akpabio advised. “You are going to have challenges but you must pray together so that you can stay together. And you must believe in God. The reason why God blesses certain people is because of the fact that they are married.

Annie Idibia[/caption]“God believes strongly in families. There are so many birds out there but you have chosen one, and as far as I am concerned for two of you, this is the beginning of greatness. If you have a stable home, you will have a very, very stable career. It is important for them to know that it is only God almighty that can sustain this union. When you have problems, try and keep one bedroom, don’t keep two. So that you can resolve your issues before daybreak. Because if it is raining and you are lying down, when your leg touches your wife, all issues in the daytime are resolved. My will for you is that this marriage will bring more prosperity to you.”
And then, Mr. Governor prayed, “No weapon fashioned against this marriage shall prosper. This marriage will bring more fame to you. This marriage will bring stability of mind to you. And this marriage will bring prosperity beyond bounds to you. If you have made it before I assure you that with this marriage, you will quadruple. And you have come to a State of uncommon transformation, uncommon things will happen to you.”
Four, they got a new road for his wife’s village
“I want to apologize for this road. Please do not judge Akwa Ibom State by the State of Roads here. I’m not happy with this road at all.
