Tuface and Annie got more than a PRADO from Gov. Akpabio

In contrast to viral reports that Tuface got a Prado SUV from the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Governor Akpabio, AY’s Blog can convincingly report that Tuface and Annie Idibia, got more than a Prado from the bighearted and entertainment loving governor of Nigeria’s only State of Transformation.

One, they got a Prado

“I have nothing to give you other than a token from the State. We decided that since our daughter is a golden daughter, We want two of you to go back home with a brand new Prado Jeep (SUV) as our contribution for today.” Those were words of Gov Akpabio when he announced the SUV gift from the State.

Two, they got support for the White wedding in Dubai

Said Governor Akpabio: “We will also send at least 20-man delegation to go with you to Dubai for the main wedding. So you have a strong delegation.”

Three, they got hands-on advise and Prayers from the Governor “Marriage is not a bed of roses,” Gov. Akpabio advised. “You are going to have challenges but you must pray together so that you can stay together. And you must believe in God. The reason why God blesses certain people is because of the fact that they are married.

“God believes strongly in families. There are so many birds out there but you have chosen one, and as far as I am concerned for two of you, this is the beginning of greatness. When you have problems, try and keep one bedroom, don’t keep two. So that you can resolve your issues before daybreak. Because if it is raining and you are lying down, when your leg touches your wife, all issues in the daytime are resolved. My will for you is that this marriage will bring more prosperity to you.”

And then, Mr. Governor prayed, “No weapon fashioned against this marriage shall prosper. This marriage will bring more fame to you. This marriage will bring stability of mind to you. And this marriage will bring prosperity beyond bounds to you. If you have made it before I assure you that with this marriage, you will quadruple. And you have come to a State of uncommon transformation, uncommon things will happen to you.”

Four, they got a new road for his wife’s village

“I want to apologize for this road. Please do not judge Akwa Ibom State by the State of Roads here. I’m not happy with this road at all. I need to apologize to all our visitors, this road was given out by NDDC, and for over ten years, NDDC has failed to do this road. I attempted to take over the roads but the contractor refused and said he has not been paid off, by NDDC, so I want to assure the people that that the next time that Idibia will come and dedicate his child here, you will have a dualised road."

If you have been to Akwa-Ibom State, lately, and you have travelled from Ikot Ekpene to Uyo, you will appreciate better the kind of good quality roads, Gov. Akpabio is talking about.

Five, they got a dinner reception at the Governors Lodge

Tuface and Annie Idibia were received at the Governors Lodge later that evening. And the following celebs were there also. AY, Timaya, Kate Henshaw, Ini Edo, Kween Onakala, Ayo Animashun, Sound Sultan, Iyanya, Ubi Franklyn (Iyanya’s Manager) and Dayo of Hip on TV.

Two Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, were present at the Dinner: One is Minister of Culture, Toursim and National Orientation, Chief Edem Duke, and Minister of State for Education, Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike.

After the Dinner Tuface had some words to say to Governor Akpabio: “Your Excellency, I’m short of words, there’s no way to say thank you enough for your support and love. And I want to say you are a very good human being, and God will continue to be with you. And I want to say thank you to all of you that came from different parts of the world to show support. Because you guys made my day.”

Tuface was asked to raise his right hand up, lower it down and hold his manhood tight, at his traditional wedding, yesterday, to Annie Macaulay, AY’s BLOG can authoritatively report.

As it is custom in Esit Urua, where Annie Macaulay, is from, Tuface was asked to kindly step out and stand before the crowd in the open field of Apostolic High School, Esit Urua Community, where the wedding took place.

Then, the ‘commandant’ asked him to raise his hands to the sky, lower it towards his ‘Penisarux Rex’, which is widely known as ‘John Thomas’, or Engine Room for short.

And Tubaba was humble enough to publicly subject himself to that all important right, publicly especially when evidences abound everywhere as proof he’s all too potent.

Tuface raised his hand. Lowered it. Held tight his ‘Penisarux Rex’.

Then, he was asked?

“Is the thing there?”

“Yes!”

“Will it satisfy our daughter?”

“Yes!”

It was a moment to giggle at. Even Gov. Ukpabio of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Florence Ita Giwa, all Celebrites, and all Esit Uruans appreciated it.

Countdown to AY Live on Easter Sunday (30days to go)

Easter is almost here, and when Easter approaches, one more thing does – AY Live: the award-winning, celebrity-attracting, crowd-thronging and side-splitting Comedy and Music Concert from the stables of AY’s Corporate World Entertainment.

The Date, you must have heard is fixed (March 31, 2013, Easter Sunday); the venue is secured (Eko Hotel & Suites), the time is sure (6pm), and the Performing Acts are gearing up to unleash their very best.

One of them is Alibaba the passionate dreamer and God Father of Nigeria Comedy.

Alibaba it was who was disowned by his father for daring to nurse and purse a career as a Comedian. Comedy made him so obstinate (if that’s what determination takes) he moved to Lagos in 1990. But just while he was enjoying the scenery of the Centre of Excellence, his Uncle (the one he stayed with) threw him out.

Yet, he didn’t go back to Warri.

“I moved to the Bar Beach where I lived for a very long while,” he told Daily Independent Newspapers in an interview, recently.

“At the beach, I met Lati Kekere who was nice to me. He is still my friend to this day. He gave me a tent to sleep and I paid N5 per night in those days. After a while, things started to pick up and I went to my uncle’s place to take my things. My washer-man became my wardrobe; I left all my clothes with him. Anytime I needed clothes I go to him. From there, I trekked to NTA every day.

“I started by appearing on NTA. I was on Youth Scene, Youth Rendezvous and the Sunday Show. I was prepared, I

The rest, as the cliché goes, is history.wanted opportunity... However, at a point, Bar Beach was no longer safe. Pimps and robbers were taking over so, I moved over to Yabatech. Every day, I trekked to NTA from Yabatech where I squatted with a friend. It was quite a distance but I had a dream that was bigger than the journey. I was committed to my dream….”

The Bar Beach Boy, the Squatter from Warri is now the BIG BOY, and the Landlord in Lagos. We don’t know what goes on in Alibaba’s mind anytime he drives past Bar Beach but we know the state he leaves his audience anytime he is on the Mic.
