Relatives
of Ebola victims have started dumping the infected bodies of their
loved ones in the Monrovia street of Liberia despite the Government's
warning to leave their bodies at home. This they do because they are
afraid to catch the virus.
News
has it that this deadly disease is really spreading in Liberia but
Liberia 's information minister, Lewis Brown warned against the dumping
of those bodies saying it poses more risk to health.
"Dumping
of these bodies on the street is putting your health and your life in
jeopardy. We beg you to leave them at home and we will pick them up" he
said.
The
government always quarantines the family of any infected person.
Besides being scared of catching the disease, they dump the bodies on
the streets to avoid quarantine thereby preventing their homes from
being decontaminated.
