Lupita Nyong’o, Matthew McConaughey, Gravity win at 2014 Oscars [SEE FULL LIST OF WINNERS]

Kenyan star Lupita Nyong’o, last night took home a Oscar, for her powerful depiction of a cotton picker in 12 Years A Slave. The actress was named the Best Supporting Actress for her first feature film.
“When I look down at this golden statue, may it remind me and every little child, that no matter where you’re from, your dreams are valid,” Lupita said during her acceptance speech.
Gravity emerged the night’s biggest winner, while Matthew Mcconaughey beat Leonardo Di Carpio to Best Actor in a Leading Role.
