A young Nigerian man has died after being stabbed and crashing his car into a bus in the United Kingdom.
22-year-old Femi Junaid is believed to have been injured before he got into his car and attempted to drive off but instead collided with a bus.
Mr. Junaid, a resident of Peckham in South London died yesterday night in a hospital.
The Mirror reports:
Detectives found Mr Junaid inside his car suffering from stab wounds. The Met’s homicide and major crime command is investigating and says Mr Junaid’s death could be linked to an earlier report of disorder on a bus nearby.
A Met spokesman said: “Detectives believe Femi was stabbed in Clapham Road, some 50 yards from the scene of the collision, before getting into his car and colliding with the bus.
“We are not aware of any other people injured and we do not believe anyone else was in the car with Femi at the time of the collision.”
A post-mortem examination has yet to be held and no arrests have been made.
