Chelsea defeated Southampton 3-0 at Saint Marys, while Christian Eriksen scored the winner as Spurs beat United 2-1 at home for the second consecutive year. Aston Villa claimed a 1-0 away win over Sunderland, while Everton drew 1-1 with Stoke City.
Luis Suarez scored a stunning free-kick, as Liverpool defeated Hull City 2-0 at Anfield. West Brom beat Newcastle 1-0, thanks to Behraino’s late penalty, while Fulham claimed a crucial 2-1 win over 10-man West Ham.
