The name D'lyte came from Atupa and Atupa is a Yoruba word for "Lantern" an Old source of light. D'lyte depicts energy, beauty happiness all these she radiates form her inside and outside.
Real name is Stella Ogadinma Francis Ebegbune and hails from Delta state, she is the last in the Family of seven(7).
Born in Nov 20, lives in Lagos state, had her pry and secondary school Education in Lagos and attended Ambrose Ali University Edo state, where she obtained a degree in Law.
Came out with her very first single Kolo(crazy for love) and the remix featuring Ruggedman . She went further to work with Sound Sultan in a track called mama, In 2010 she released a video titled Bawo featuring dj Zee and other singles like Askor which was released in 2012 and gained massive airplay, she's worked with different producers both home and away,
D'lyte the Superwoman got inspired by those women who cope successfully with the simultaneous demands of a career , marriage ,motherhood and all. She was inspired by those women trading under the hot sun just to make sure their children get educated.
