Mother, Grandmother wins $120 million Lottery Jackpot

Lottery Winner, Ira Curry now richer than Kerry Washington and Jamie Foxx combined

What would you do if you won the lottery?  Correction:  What would you do if you won the lottery that suddenly gave you a windfall of $648 million dollars?  That’s the question being comtemplated by Ira Curry, a woman who suddenly has enough money to buy nearly anything (or anyone) she wants.

The 56-year old Curry is a mother and grandmother in Atlanta who also happens to be a multi-millionaire after winning the Mega Millions jackpot.  Her financial problems are solved, and if she manages that money correctly, this will solve the financial problems of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, you can just keep going.
Curry wasn’t the only winner though.  Her share is just $120 million, which is still enough to buy nearly anything she wants.  Her lucky numbers involved the use of her relatives’ birthdays, who just happened to all be born on exactly the right day.
Her numbers were 8, 14, 17, 20 and 39, and 7, according to officials.
This is the largest Mega Millions jackpot in history and the biggest single collection by anyone in the history of the state of Georgia.
“It’s unreal … like I’m still dreaming,” she said after finding out about the big win.
Curry has made the wise decision of trying to stay out of the public eye.  The problem for her is that lottery winners’ names are made public.  So, she will probably have a few long lost relatives come out of the woodwork, as well as a few charities and of course, her pastor asking for money for the new building fund.  Comes with the territory.
