“He will be on the bench or at home” – Mourinho drops Cole for Arsenal clash

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho refused to criticise Ashley Cole for partying with his Arsenal rivals just days before the two sides meet, but he made it clear the England defender will not start on Monday night.
Cole – who has lost his place in Chelsea’s starting line-up to Cesar Azpilicueta – was pictured out on Wednesday night at the same Libertine nightclub where Arsenal were having their Christmas party.
When asked if Cole would play at the Emirates against his former side, Mourinho – who cancelled Chelsea’s Christmas party – said: ‘(He will be) on the bench or at home.
‘I play (Branislav) Ivanovic right back and Azpilicueta left back and John Terry. I have to make a decision between (Gary) Cahill and David (Luiz).’
