Incoming reports have it that 2face Idibia and his wife, Annie, have welcomed their second child together.
The actress/model delivered the baby – whose sex is yet to be ascertained – this evening in the past hour in an Atlanta hospital.

Both mother and child are reported to be doing fine.
2face and Annie got married last year in March and already have a daughter together.

Sad one: Woman Collapses And Dies While Giving Testimony In Church

Tragedy struck in Umuogwuta, Ndegwu, Owerri West local council area of Imo State, as a lady who was giving her testimony during the New Year service suddenly collapsed and died.

A villager, who spoke to Vanguard on ground of anonymity, said: “The Lagos-based lady, Ifeoma Anozie, collapsed and died while giving her testimony inside Saint John’s Anglican Church, Ndegwu.”

Stella Oduah To Spend N800m On Vehicles in 2014

According to P.M news, Nigeria’s Aviation Minister, Princess Stella Oduah, will spend at least N800 million on vehicles in 2014, after splashing N643 million on 54 vehicles in 2013, her budget proposal shows. 

The budget proposal, obtained by P.M.NEWS, shows that Oduah will spend N250 million on eight operational vehicles for the Accident Investigation Bureau, AIB, a small agency of the ministry with personnel cost estimated at N150 million yearly. 

The budget provision shows each vehicle will cost N30.125million. Many of the SUV brands available in the Nigerian market sell between N5m and N15m. The minister, who appears to be a car freak will also shell another N500 million to buy a truck for the agency. And in her main ministry, She will spend another N50 million on staff buses.

According to a Bloomberg report that was released today, Africa's richest man & founder of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, made $9.2billion in 2013 alone, raising his fortune to over $30billion and making him the 30th richest person in the world.

Bill Gates is back to being the richest man in the world after making $15.8 billion in 2013 alone and raising his fortune to $78.5 billion.

Bloomberg’s billionaires index showed that the 300 richest people in the world increased their wealth by $524 billion in 2013 and the aggregate net worth of the world’s top billionaires stood at $3.7 trillion at the close of market on December 31.

O.J. Simpson undergoing tests for brain cancer

According to a new report by National Enquirer, jailed former football star O.J. Simpson is receiving tests for brain cancer and is begging President Obama for a pardon so he can die in peace at home.

The magazine claims that Simpson, 66, who is serving a 33 year sentence in a prison in Nevada for kidnapping, assault and robbery, is undergoing secret medical exams for a cancerous tumor in his brain and is convinced he won't live long.

"O.J. says his memory is slipping and he gets painful headaches and other symptoms. He put off the doctors for weeks after he first started experiencing the symptoms because he was afraid of what they would find. Now the prison docs are telling him they believe he has a brain tumor. They plan to run a series of tests on him, MRIs and CT scans.' a source told The Enquirer

The Enquirer reports that Simpson told a friend, 'I feel the end coming. But I don't want to die in prison like common jailhouse scum.' O.J is up for parole in 2017

The sudden disappearance of the General Overseer of Christ Worshippers Church with headquarters at Osubi, Effurun, Warri, Delta State Prophet Duromola Adedayo Samuel has left his family and church perturbed.

According to a source, Prophet Duromola might have met his death in a ghastly auto crash that occurred, yesterday, between 6.00 p.m and 8.00 p.m. along Akure-Ilesa expressway.
Another source however said he might also have been a victim of kidnap.
A source in Ikeji Arakeji area where the crash occurred disclosed that after the crash and the vehicle veered into the bush, they tried to give a helping hand but did not meet anybody inside the vehicle with the number plate already removed.
Osun State police command spokesperson, Mrs Folasade Odoro, said there was no official report to that

3 Siblings Burnt To Death In Delta

Three siblings were Monday burnt to death in an inferno which consumed 10 make-shift houses at Oroke Estate in Ovwian, Udu Council Area of Delta State.
According to an eyewitness, the source of the fire could not be ascertained, but it could be from candle light or generating sets as there was power outage at the time of the incident.
Source told Vanguard that the tragic incident occurred at about 9.43 p.m while both parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jakpor Emuruohwose and their eldest daughter, aged 11years, were away.

President Jonathan Promises Stable Power By June

President Goodluck Jonathan, says power will be reasonably stable across the country before the middle of 2014.
Speaking to a congregation of Christian Faithful in a New Year Service in Abuja on Wednesday, Jonathan promised that his administration would do its best to ensure a vibrant economy, create more jobs, uphold good governance and provide food for Nigerians.
The year 2014 is a special year in Nigeria’s history, as it marks modern Nigeria’s 100 years of existence.
“All Nigerians should endeavour to know the areas they will participate as we celebrate the nation’s centenary,” Jonathan said.
He pleaded with politicians to place priority on the interest of the country more than their individual interests.
“As we continue to play politics in that direction. Leaders will come and go but the country will stay,” he said.
The president said that the expected stable power supply before the middle of the year would stimulate the economy.

Former Arsenal and Inter Milan striker, Kanu Nwankwo, has paid for the four children to have heart surgeries in India, through his Kanu Heart Foundation.

Kanu’s football career was threatened by a serious heart defect, immediately after winning the Olympic gold in Atlanta in 1996.
Ever since, the ex Super Eagles skipper has established a foundation to help kids suffering from heart-related ailment.
“We send four people to India as a Christmas gift from Kanu Heart Foundation, please let everyone pray for them for successful operation. They left on 26th December,” Kanu announced.

Suicide Attempt? Man Reportedly Sets Self Ablaze In Abuja

ABUJA – A tragic incident occurred in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja as a man allegedly committed suicide by setting himself ablaze on Tuesday December 31st 2013, according to reports by Punch.
The unidentified man, reported to be middle-aged, set himself ablaze in his residence in Gwarimpa.
According to reports, neighbours rushed to the mans residence after noticing smoke coming out of his house. On getting there, they found his charred remains.
The police were alerted, and the corpse has been evacuated to the morgue of the General Hospital, Kubwa.

Woman attacks boyfriend with knife for refusing to cuddle

A 31-year-old Bradenton woman was charged with domestic battery after she got angry with her live-in boyfriend when he refused to “cuddle” with her when they went to bed, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
Shavonna Rumph and the boyfriend had been drinking at their residence in the 4300 block of 18th Street West.
An argument started early Saturday when the man refused to “cuddle” with Rumph when they went to bed, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in the case.
