BREAKING NEWS: U.S Deploys 80 Troops to Help with Locating Abducted Chibok Schoolgirls by Boko Haram

The United States has deployed 80 American military personnel to Chad to assist in the search for more than 200 Nigerian schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram last month, President Barack Obama told Congress on Wednesday.

Obama wrote in a letter to House Speaker, John Boehner, and Senate President, Pro Tempore Patrick Leahy:
“These personnel will support the operation of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft for missions over northern Nigeria and the surrounding area.

The force will remain in Chad until its support in resolving the kidnapping situation is no longer required.”
The letter was sent to comply with the War Power Resolution, which requires congressional notification within 48 hours of American troop commitments.

April 14th, 2014.
Gloom came visiting a small village in North Western Nigeria.
Chibok was attacked. And when the heartless invaders left, they abducted over 200 innocent girls.
And their sin?
Because they chose to be educated. Because they wanted a brighter future for themselves. Because they wanted to be great girls.
Protests have since followed worldwide since that dark 14th day of April. And we are yet to see the girls. We don’t know how they eat. How they are being treated.
To join the Global Campaign to return the girls, God Bless Nigeria Church embarked on a freedom walk to the National Stadium alongside demanding early and safe return of the girls.
Lead by Pastor Tony Rapu, the Freedom Walk also featured Resident Pastor Orohnor, AY, Joke Silver, Bimbo Akintola, Ufuoma Ejenabor and the Youth Association of Kibaku in Chibok.

The mission of the Freedom Walk was clear: BRING BACK OUR GIRLS!

Wonderful World! Bird turns to old woman in Lagos

LAGOS — Residents of Ajegunle area of Lagos were, yesterday, thrown into shock, after a bird was said to have transformed into an old woman who confessed to being a witch.

The dark-complexioned nonagenarian with tribal marks, who spoke in Yoruba, told a bewildered crowd that she was on her way back to Ibadan, Oyo State (as a bird) when she missed her track.

She was also said to have told the mammoth crowd that her mystical powers disappointed her because it was dawn.

Eye-witnesses told Vanguard that three black birds were seen at about 7am, flying side‑by‑side along Old Ojo Road.

Then, all of a sudden, one of them landed on a moving pick‑up van owned by Eko Electricity Distribution Company.

An eye witness who identified himself simply as Mr Okafor said: “Immediately the bird landed on the van, it transformed into an old woman.

A 52-year-old woman in Ezinihitte Mbaise Lo­cal Government Area, Imo State, Mrs. Tina Iwuji, alleged to have done an abominable thing by arranging the sale of the baby of her son’s girlfriend, is now gnashing her teeth in the custody of the Imo State Police Command.

The two-week-old baby girl was allegedly sold for the sum of N350,000 to another wom­an, Bernadine Abara, who claimed to be in need of a girl to complement her three sons.

Unbelievable! 14yr old girl kills another 14yr old girl after Facebook fight over a boy! [PHOTO]

14 year old Endia Martin (pictured above) was killed on Monday April 28th by another 14 year old girl after they argued on Facebook about a boy.
According to Chicago tribune, the handgun used to kill Endia Martin had been brought to the scene by someone who knew the suspect and knew 'there was going to be a fight' Chicago police said

"What would have been, under any other circumstance, probably a fistfight between 14-year-old girls, because they were fighting over a boy, turned into a murder. You introduce a firearm and you have a murder." The police said

Endia was walking home from school when the other girl approached, pulled the gun and opened fire around 4:30 p.m on Monday in West Garfield Boulevard, Chicago, according to police. Endia was hit in the back and killed instantly.
